Far beyond the capabilities of other basic laser beam printers, the Color imageRUNNER LBP5460 device provides high-quality output speeds of up to 31 pages per minute (ppm) in brilliant color and crisp black and white (letter).
With standard support for UFRII, PCL,and PostScript®3TM emulation print drivers and paper sizes up to legal, your general office documents can be produced quickly and reliably.

Optimized document processing
Support for UFR II, PCL, and PostScript 3 emulation is standard on the Color imageRUNNER LBP5460 device. UFR II is optimized to produce high-speed color and monochrome documents by automatically distributing data processing between the print driver on the user’s desktop computer and the device. Canon’s print driver architecture is also consistent across the entire imageRUNNER line, simplifying and standardizing the task of producing documents and enabling users to switch between different page description languages.

The Color imageRUNNER LBP5460 device is powered by the same high-performance system architecture developed for Canon’s renowned imageRUNNER line, delivering extraordinary productivity, robust functionality, and enhanced processing capacity. Using Canon’s patented Color RAPID Fusing System and revolutionary short vertical paper path, the device produces beautiful, high-speed color and monochrome documents with fast first-printout times while maintaining a compact size. Energy consumption is also minimized by drawing as
little as 1.8W of power in Deep Sleep Mode for optimal efficiency.

Advanced workflow support
The Color imageRUNNER LBP5460 device can meet the advanced applications requirements of industries such as education and healthcare through standard PostScript 3 emulation and optional bar code printing. The PostScript 3 capability delivers accurate rasterization of PS3 print data, while the Barcode Printing option provides support for a wide variety of bar codes. Frequently printed documents can also be stored on the device when the Hard Disk Drive option is installed and then quickly printed through the Remote UI utility. Administrators can also track total device output through the same counter system technology and functionality used
in imageRUNNER MFP devices.

Enhanced usability
Users will appreciate the clarity of the 5-line LCD display and intuitive control panel of the Color imageRUNNER LBP5460 model. The distinctive panel features on-screen navigation to facilitate device setup, animations to help guide operations, at-a- glance consumable levels, and the status of current print jobs. Replacing the all-in-one toner and drum cartridges is also easy through the front access panel and even quicker with Canon’s unique auto- rewinding tape seal. Regardless of whether users are on a desktop computer or using a laptop in a meeting, documents can be printed from anywhere within range of the device through the optional Wireless LAN Kit.
