| When configured with Universal Send, imageRUNNER devices are transformed from digital copier/printer/scanners into digital communications hubs - the center of any workgroup's or department's document creation and distribution applications. Universal Send enables users to scan hard-copy originals, convert them into digital documents, and push them to multiple destinations in one operation. Scanned documents may be distributed via the Internet, public telephone lines, using the company's existing Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure, and printed - in any combination. Universal Send ships standard with either 10- or 20-user versions of eCopy Desktop, which enables desktop manipulation/annotation of documents and direct linkages to fax servers, e-mail address books, and document management systems. |
